Mikel Rejects A Move To Valencia

Reports have it that Super Eagles captain and Chelsea star John Obi Mikel has turned down a move to La Liga club Valencia after they failed to meet his wage demands. The Nigeria captain has been  out of favour at Stamford Bridge after representing the Dream Team at the 2016 Olympic Games, and his representatives are looking to find him a club in the January transfer window.  Valencia had offered Mikel three million euros wages per season, which was deemed insufficient by him (Mikel). A move to Asia looks the most feasible option as he has demanded ten million euros wages per season from interested clubs. The 29-year-old Mikel is in the final six months of his contract with the Blues.

Me I suggest he accepts the three million euros wage offer so he can be in top-flight football. Going to Asia won't be the right decision to make. I have said my own

Payet to Arsenal

Arsenal to bid for Payet

Arsene Wenger is ready to reignite interest in the West Ham star with a concrete bid when the transfer window opens, having lost Santi Cazorla for three months Arsenal are ready to make a big offer for West Ham star Dimitri Payet, according to The Sun. The France international is a fan favourite at the London Stadium after a stunning first season in the Premier League, though has failed to replicate the same form this season. Jose Mourinho is also reportedly keen but West Ham are not expected to let their key player leave in January, despite growing concerns over his commitment to the cause in east London. Wenger has been a vocal admirer of Payet, most recently on Friday ahead of the Gunners' short trip to Stratford.
